Celastic XT is the highest quality Celastic available. It is made from a higher quality fabric than any other Celastic type materials and has a higher density core for greater durability and rigidity.

Premium Celastic is a plastic impregnated fabric which becomes mold-able when activated by immersion in solvents such as Acetone and MEK (methyl ethyl ketone). Once dry from it's solvent bath, it is transformed into a light-weight, high impact material. Celastic can be drilled, sanded, and will accept many finishing techniques.

Celastic is used in artisan crafts for fabricating: custom boot making, orthotics, mascot characters, floats, movie and stage props, taxidermy and more. It's even used as toe box material and heel counters.

Also, Celastic is used by Jobbers at metal foundries as a lag material for patching, repairing, and building up patterns.
